Payment Terms

1. Payment Processing

All fiat currency transactions for purchasing Credits on CarTechTravel are securely processed by PhonePe and its associated payment partners. By initiating a payment on our platform, you also agree to be bound by PhonePe's terms of service and privacy policy.

2. Data Storage

Security is our priority. CarTechTravel does not store sensitive payment information. Specifically, we do not store:

  • Credit or Debit Card Numbers
  • Card Verification Values (CVV)
  • UPI PINs
  • Direct banking credentials

We only receive and store cryptographic tokens, transaction IDs, and status metadata from PhonePe to verify that a payment succeeded and to allocate Credits accordingly.

3. Failed Payments

If a transaction fails during processing, the associated Credits will not be added to your account.

In scenarios where funds are deducted from your bank account but the transaction is marked as "Failed" by PhonePe, the funds will automatically be refunded by your bank or PhonePe according to their standard banking timelines. Failed payments do not automatically create credits in our system.

4. Refunds

Any refunds for successful payments are processed strictly according to our Refund Policy. When a refund is initiated by CarTechTravel, it is routed back through PhonePe to your original payment method.

5. Fraudulent Transactions

We monitor transactions for suspicious activity. If we detect payment abuse, chargeback fraud, or the use of compromised payment instruments, we reserve the right to:

  • Immediately suspend or terminate your account.
  • Revoke any Credits purchased through fraudulent means.
  • Report the activity to PhonePe and relevant law enforcement authorities.
