1. Introduction

Welcome to CarTechTravel. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By creating an account or using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Service Description

CarTechTravel provides vehicle management tools, AI assistance, invoice auditing, maintenance information, and educational automotive content. We aim to help you understand your vehicle better, but our services are informational tools, not physical repair services.

5. No Professional Advice

CarTechTravel does not provide engineering certification, legal advice, financial advice, warranties, guarantees regarding vehicle condition, or guarantees regarding workshop quality.

Any recommendations, benchmarks, or insights provided by the Platform are strictly for informational and educational purposes. You should always consult with a certified mechanic or professional before making decisions about vehicle repairs, maintenance, or purchases.

6. AI Limitations

The Platform utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to analyze invoices and generate insights. You acknowledge that AI outputs:

  • May be incomplete or inaccurate.
  • Depend heavily on the quality and clarity of the information you provide or upload.
  • Should be independently verified, especially before making any safety-critical decisions or confronting service workshops.

7. User Responsibilities

When using the Platform, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate vehicle and account information.
  • Upload only authorized documents, images, and invoices that you have the right to share.
  • Verify AI-generated recommendations independently.
  • Not rely solely on AI output for any vehicle safety, maintenance, or financial decision.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Scraping, crawling, or extracting data from the Platform using automated means.
  • Automated abuse, reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Platform.
  • Prompt injection attacks or any attempt to bypass our AI safety constraints.
  • Payment abuse, chargeback fraud, or uploading fraudulent documents.
  • Impersonation of any person or entity.
  • Malicious testing, penetration testing, or attempting to breach our security measures without explicit prior authorization.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Platform, including our software, algorithms, knowledge graphs, audit methodologies, trademarks, content, and branding, are and will remain the exclusive property of CarTechTravel and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Payments and Credits

Certain features require the purchase of Credits. Credits:

  • Have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for fiat currency.
  • Are strictly non-transferable between accounts.
  • May expire after a certain period if configured and communicated at the time of purchase.
  • May be immediately revoked without refund if we detect fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

11. Availability

The Services are provided on an "As Is" and "As Available" basis. CarTechTravel makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, reliability, or uptime of the Platform. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CarTechTravel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Vehicle damage or safety failures.
  • Disputes with workshops or mechanics.
  • Repair costs, lost profits, or financial losses.
  • Missed maintenance events or scheduling errors.

In no event shall CarTechTravel's aggregate liability for all claims related to the Platform exceed the total fees paid by you to CarTechTravel during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CarTechTravel and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:

  • Unlawful uploads or sharing of confidential data.
  • Infringement of third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Fraud or intentional misuse of the Platform.
  • Your violation of any term of these Terms of Service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
